Jahrhundert, der am 1. September 1730 begann und \u00fcber 6 Jahre lang anhalten sollte, hat die Insel in weiten Teilen zerst\u00f6rt, aber auch so geformt, wie wir sie heute als Besucher vorfinden. Was seinerzeit f\u00fcr die Lanzarotenos, oder die Majos, eine Katastrophe war, hat somit auch zu ihrer heutigen Einzigartigkeit beigetragen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aber nicht nur die Natur hat hier gro\u00dfes geschaffen, sondern auch ein einzigartiger K\u00fcnstler, der auf dieser Insel geboren wurde, C\u00e9asar Manrique. C\u00e9asar Manrique haben wir zu verdanken, dass es auf Lanzarote keine Hochh\u00e4user gibt, kein Haus sollte h\u00f6her als drei Stockwerke sein, um den weiten Blick \u00fcber dieses herrliche Land zu unterbrechen. Mit einigen wenigen Ausnahmen in den touristischen Zentren der Insel konnte diese Zusage des damaligen Inselpr\u00e4sidenten von 1968 eingehalten werden. Die Stiftung C\u00e9sar Manrique k\u00e4mpft zudem f\u00fcr die Einhaltung dieser Auflagen, leider nicht immer mit Erfolg. Manrique hat diese einzigartige Landschaft auch mit seinen Kunstwerken, die sich nahtlos in den nat\u00fcrlichen Raum integrieren, gestaltet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jedes mal wenn wir nach Lanzarote kommen, sind wir immer wieder ergriffen von dieser Einzigartigkeit. Die noch immer um neues Leben k\u00e4mpfende Natur Lanzarotes zeigt uns immer wieder, wie einzigartig alles Leben ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Falls Ihr neugierig auf das Werk C\u00e9sar Manriques geworden seid, so besucht die Stiftung Fundaci\u00f3n C\u00e9sar Manrique n\u00f6rdlich von Arrecife.
